Every OPR frame is handcrafted in Italy, across a small group of family-run ateliers we know by name. Some of these relationships began before OPR existed, during the decade we lived in Italy together.
The acetate is made of cotton and wood pulp, produced in Italy, the kind that has clothed European eyewear since the nineteenth century. What you will wear is the result of over eighty deliberate steps, shaped by people who learned the craft from their mentor, for a face we studied before you arrived.
